BREAKING NEWS: The Celtic Manager’s Issuer, Make Captain And Other Players To…

Although Eric Dier is now making an impression for Bayern Munich and proving his skeptics wrong, Ange Postecoglou may have overestimated his ability.

Illertisser Zeitung, who currently covers the player, claims that everyone, including the Tottenham manager, misjudged him.

The newspaper notes that Dier, who signed a free move in the January transfer window, is among the few bright spots in a poor season for Bayern Munich.

After being written off by Postecoglou, who saw him as a “discontinued model” and cut from his future plans, he finally showed up.
Rather, he moved to Germany, where he established himself as a dependable regular and most notably silenced Kai Havertz in the Champions League.

He arrived after being binned off by Postecoglou, who considered him a ‘discontinued model’ and no longer a part of his plans moving forwards.

Instead, he’s gone to Germany and become an undisputed regular, recently keeping Kai Havertz quiet in the Champions League.

The player himself has spoken about his own performances and how he thinks he should be in England’s squad for Euro 2024. The newspaper don’t go as far as to say the same, but they do say he’s ‘found happiness’ in Munich.

He was very much ‘underestimated’ by everyone at Tottenham, including Postecoglou, and is now shining and proving those doubters very wrong away from them.

Whether anyone at Spurs will care is another question entirely but it’s a positive for him either way.

The athlete has discussed his own performances in public.
