With a 2-1 victory over Whitby Town on Saturday, the team won the NPL Premier Division championship and moved on to the National League North for the first time in its 75-year existence.
In the inaugural season, management team Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley receive a promotion.
The club’s achievements have been commended by Bury North MP James Daly and Bury South MP Christian Wakeford.
“I am ecstatic for Bern, Jonno, and all the guys at Radcliffe on what has been an incredible season from beginning to end,” stated Mr. Wakeford.
“It is a fantastic achievement and no mean feat getting out of the Northern Premier League is testament to the football they’ve been playing.
“The whole town is so proud and already looking forward to the challenge of next season. See you all on Saturday for the trophy presentation!”
“It is simply fantastic to see Radcliffe promoted to the National League North,” Mr. Daly continued.
“The team has developed into one of the league’s largest home and away fan bases throughout the years, and it truly is ingrained in the town.
“I really think that there are the foundations in place for this great local club to have a very bright future. The club is truly special.”
