After an extremely poor regular season, the Golden State Warriors were defeated by the Sacramento Kings in the play-in round, and they were unable to advance to the postseason. With Draymond Green and Klay Thompson serving as Steph Curry’s co-stars, the loss raises even more concerns about Golden State’s waning dynasty and their ability to contend at a high level.
Thompson is a free agent, so his offseason will be highly interesting, but Green is signed for the upcoming few seasons after signing to an extension last summer. Curry reportedly told Green that they’re not done yet following the Sacramento loss, demonstrating that he does not picture himself playing without his two enduring teammates.
In a recent podcast episode, Green discussed a conversation he had with Curry following Golden State’s defeat to the Kings. He stated, “I told Curry, ‘I love you bro,’ just after the game in the Kings locker room. I also adore you,’ he said. We’re not done yet. You’re correct. I understand. Observed. We’re not.
