HEARTBREAKING BBC NEWS: Fans In Tears As Celtic Owner ‘Dermot Desmond’ Gives Worst Verdict About…

If reports are to be believed, Celtic may be happy to have Daizen Maeda return to the team in the last few weeks of the campaign. According to reports, Brendan Rodgers told supporters that the player has returned to training following an incredible injury comeback.

The Japanese attacker last featured in the 3-3 draw with the Rangers at Ibrox, where he scored and picked up a hamstring injury. It was expected that his season would be over. However, in a social media rumour shared on Wednesday evening, the winger could be back in contention as soon as next week.

It would be a huge boost for Celtic if Maeda were to be back in contention for the Hearts game and the next four matches before the end of the season – including two potential season defining games against Rangers.

Maeda is undoubtedly unique in his tireless work ethic and it would be no surprise to supporters to see him back from injury before he is due to return.

Celtic are a much better team with Maeda in the team given his intensity in the press, which causes defenders an awful amount of problems.
