GOOD NEWS: He Is Gone…

It seems sense that the health of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton will play a major factor in the Milwaukee Bucks-Indiana Pacers series, as game three is scheduled to begin at an oddly exact 4:30 (Central) tip-off time. The first round of injury reports from the league, which covered the games on Friday, is out, and the results aren’t particularly encouraging

Giannis was reportedly limited to only a small amount of movement and shooting, which isn’t shocking considering where he was a few days prior to game two. It would have been unusual if he had gone from extremely limited practice routines to a full-fledged starter in less than 72 hours, even though the recuperation period is still unknown.

The news regarding Middleton is the true cause for concern, albeit it’s difficult to determine whether Doc Rivers’s remarks about his doubts about Middleton’s ability to travel are the result of his conjecture, deception, or something else. Recall that while taking the ball up the court in game two, Middleton unintentionally trod on Pascal Siakam’s foot, which resulted in him rolling his ankle at the end of the first quarter. He left the game for a little while, but he came back in the second quarter and continued to play.

In the brief series so far, Middleton has averaged 35.5 minutes, 19.0 points (.536/.286/1.00), 7.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. His most significant performances came in game one, when he helped Milwaukee establish an insurmountable early lead in that match. His absence would be a severe blow to a rotation that already struggles with playmaking.

When game three draws near, we’ll be on the lookout for additional information. I hope both of you continue to heal quickly.
