With a career-high 47 points and ten assists on Sunday, Jalen Brunson led the New York Knicks to a 97-92 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs. The Knicks currently have a 3-1 lead in the first-round playoff series after this victory.
In addition to his 16 points and 14 rebounds, OG Anunoby had some defensive duty against Joel Embiid during the fourth quarter.
The Knicks can potentially advance to the Eastern Conference playoffs for the second straight season with just one victory.
With a victory at home on Tuesday night, the second-seeded Knicks can guarantee their place in the following round of the playoffs.
Embiid, who had a difficult game earlier, was on the court for the whole second half for the 76ers. He was unable to score any points in the fourth quarter, though. Embiid recorded 27 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists at the game’s conclusion.
