The 29-year-old defender made the transfer permanent in January after initially joining the Dabbers on loan from Guiseley in December 2023.
The former Chorley and Stockport player has now made 18 appearances for Paul Carden’s team, scoring one goal in a 4-2 victory over Stalybridge Celtic.
Meppen-Walters commented on his new deal with the Dabbers, saying, “I’m really happy to be here for another year.”
“I’m having fun playing football, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish with a full season next year. But already, I’m dreading preseason!”
This Saturday is Nantwich Town’s last game of the Northern Premier League season, away to Widnes.
In a team that was soaring to the top of the league, Berry occasionally had to wait his turn for a shot, but the supporters embraced his forthright approach right away.
“It could not have gone any better, my first season here, into the Football League where we all want to be, where the club deserves to be and where it should be,” he stated, looking back on his debut season with the Blues.
