SAD NEWS:Am No Longer Welcome ”Quinn Ewers” Has Expressed Sudden Career Twist To Leave…

AUSTIN – One of the most widely circulated stories about the Texas Longhorns outside of Austin is the one about Arch Manning’s eventual rise to the starting quarterback position on the squad, surpassing Quinn Ewers.

Only last month’s Orange-White spring game, in which Ewers saw little playing time and Manning put on a display, throwing for nearly 300 yards and three scores, fed that narrative.

Two weeks later, to the surprise of everyone who was aware of the program, Manning is still in Austin following the portal’s shutdown and Ewers is still the starting pitcher.

So why are the Longhorns not thinking about making a switch? Even though such responses seem self-evident, college football analyst Bruce Feldman recently spoke with Rich Eisen on the subject, potentially ending the story completely.

“I think there would be a little more drama into it if Quinn Ewers hadn’t been a two-year starter and hadn’t nearly led them to the national title game,” Feldman remarked. “However, he is a guy who has improved; they were excellent last year. Although he’s not as good as Caleb Williams, he’s still got talent.
