On Tuesday, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks in Ankara on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between their nations in a number of areas.
They also discussed current events in the region, particularly the Israeli abuses against the Palestinian people and the Gaza War.
On Tuesday, Sheikh Meshal made his official arrival in Turkey. Expanded discussions between their respective delegations took place after he and Erdogan had formal talks at the presidential palace.
Cooperation in the areas of trade, energy, tourism, investment, military industries, and health were the main topics of discussion.
Numerous protocols, memoranda of understanding, and agreements for cooperation covering a variety of topics were signed by both parties.
Sheikh Meshal’s first trip outside of the Gulf and Arab nations was to Turkey.
