SAD NEWS FOR LEEDS: HE IS GONE…

Leeds United will receive financial compensation as a result of Rafa Mujica’s impending transfer from Arouca in Portugal to Al-Sadd in Qatar.

Over the previous few years, the Whites have made significant investments in youth recruits, but few of them have shown up for the main squad.

Those that have left the club already are looking to develop their careers elsewhere, and a few have had immense 23/24 campaigns.

Striker Rafa Mujica left Leeds back in 2021 after joining the club two years prior while Marcelo Bielsa was at the helm, and after a brief stint with Las Palmas, he headed to Portugal.

This season, Mujica scored 20 goals and dished out three assists for Arouca, making him one of the most prolific goal scorers in the Portuguese top division.

Al-Sadd of Qatar took notice of his form, and he is expected to go to the Middle East for £8.6 million.
