SAD NEWS: It Is With Heavy Heart Noles Announce The Passing Away Of Ja’Khi Douglas Who Was Involved In…

No wide receiver prospect has been signed by Florida State for the 2025 recruiting class. In addition to four-star signal-caller Tramell Jones Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, the Seminoles would like to add at least two playmakers.

What better player to add than his four-star wide receiver partner from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida, Vernell Brown III, a South Florida Express 7v7 teammate? The Seminoles consider Brown III to be a top choice, as the coaching staff made the Orlando native a second-ever offer.

On Tuesday afternoon, Jones Jr. released his top four schools list. That narrowing of the list included schools such as Florida State, Florida, Miami, and Ohio State.

For reference, he will officially visit Ohio State on May 31st, Miami on June 11th, Florida on June 14th, and Florida State on June 21st. He decided to conduct an interview with Tyler Harden of TTJH Sports where Brown III discussed each of his finalists.

In the 2024 recruiting cycle, the Buckeyes, led by position coach Brian Hartline, were successful in luring five-star Jeremiah Smith away from the Seminoles.

They consistently produce wide receiver talents who enter the professional ranks at a higher rate than average. The fact that Florida State will make its final official visit before the summer does, however, reduce some of the uncertainty.
