Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan three-star running back Chad Gasper was one of two commits on campus for Florida’s first official visit weekend. During his three days on campus, Gasper made it clear that he intended to become a Gator. Gasper traveled to Gainesville in late March to tour the school and have face-to-face meetings with the staff, following his acceptance of an offer from Florida in January. Gasper announced his commitment to the Gators on May 10 and scheduled an official visit to take a closer look at Florida.
“It was great,” Gasper said of his official. “I love meeting the coaching staff. I came on an unofficial visit, and they showed me the basics, and I was unsure of what really went on around here. But then I came for my official visit this weekend, and I was with the running backs, and they showed me stuff outside of football.”
