Iniguez was a two-star prospect and the 53rd-ranked defensive tackle in the country after graduating from high school. He recorded 41 tackles, 5 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 8 quarterback hurries, and 1 fumble recovery in 2019 as a senior.

He was named to the first team all-league and received honorable mention North Coast Section honors from the California Interscholastic Federation after his senior year.

Iniguez studied in Hawaii for two years. He redshirted in 2021 and did not play in the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season before attending City College of San Francisco to play junior college ball.

After a strong season with the Rams, Iniguez became a sought-after player on the transfer market. With the New Mexico State Aggies, he took advantage of this momentum to join the Mountain West.

Iniguez had a 2023 stat line of 24 tackles, 2 sacks, 5 tackles for loss, and 1 pass breakup. He was selected to the Phil Steele all-conference fourth team and the College Football Network Conference USA second team.

Iniguez plans to play for the Aggies and head coach Blake Anderson in 2024 after transferring to his fourth school.
