As Enzo Maresca looks to assemble his team for the demanding Premier League season, Chelsea has been linked to a number of players this summer. The Blues may have received a boost in their pursuit of Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori, as the Bologna star is reportedly offered a “significant” salary ahead of a possible transfer.
The former Leicester City manager has made it apparent who he wants to bring to Stamford Bridge in order to collaborate with owner Todd Boehly. The Blues have already signed six players this summer, and they don’t appear to be slowing down. Given Calafiori’s incredible ascent from nothing, Alfredo Pedulla speculates that he might decide to go to west London because his move to Juventus appears to be faltering.
