What David Ozoh was told by Malcolm Ebiowei
When the 20-year-old learned that the midfielder was moving from Crystal Palace to Derby, he messaged the Valencia-born player on Instagram.
Having made 16 appearances for Derby before Dougie Freedman signed him on a free transfer, Ebiowei has a special place in his heart for the Rams and will be able to tell Ozoh everything there is to know about life at Pride Park.
The England U20 international gave the Rams two assists in addition to one goal.
Before making his first move away from Crystal Palace, Ebiowei wished Ozoh well on Instagram by sending him four heart emojis: ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Other young talents at Selhurst Park also responded to the news, with Owen Goodman writing “massive” along with another heart emoji, while Luke Plange, Tayo Adaramola and Jadan Raymond congratulated the England U18 international as well.
