A’ja Wilson, the legendary basketball player from South Carolina, has been named the world’s finest player twice, and he consistently proves it on the court. The superstar of the Las Vegas Aces smashed yet another WNBA record on Wednesday night. Wilson scored 29 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the Aces’ victory over the Minnesota Lynx, marking her fifth consecutive game with 20 points and 10 rebounds. She had two steals, three assists, and four blocks as well.
Wilson has averaged 26 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 1 steal thus far this season. A’ja Wilson is confident she will earn a third MVP award, and her Aces team will have a strong chance to win a third straight WNBA Championship if she performs well enough to win that trophy once more.
Wilson has dominated all five of the Aces’ games thus far, with at least 29 points and 13 rebounds in three of them. Wilson, the league’s top defensive anchor, has guided the Aces to victory in all of their previous games, holding their opponents to fewer than 90 points while Vegas is giving up fewer than 80 points per contest.
