Sean Embree, a wide receiver, made his announcement on social media a short while ago, identifying as a Coug, just days after his formal visit to Pullman. Although Embree was blown away by the visit, he tells Cougfan.com that one item in particular made him believe Pullman is the place to be.
“The coaching staff sealed the deal for me,” Embree told CF.C. “They’re great coaches, great people and they’re going to help me go far. And then I could tell how good the culture was just from meeting the players and knowing some of them beforehand. The coaches were all really excited when I told them I was committing.”
Upon his untimely death in December 2022 at the age of 61, Mike Leavech left behind a legacy and a family that will eventually need to be addressed. Leach is a coach in the College Football Hall of Fame by practically all standards. But he will never be able to enter that hall of fame the way things are currently.
