MARSEIL : Marseille conclut un énorme accord avec les rivaux PSG pour la superstar ”Marco Asensio” d’une valeur de €170 millions d’euros Insistant…

According to L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille may yet reap the rewards for their perseverance in pursuing Sergio Conceiçao.

Last season, Marseille went through three managers before Jean-Louis Gasset, an interim manager, took over. Gasset even declared his managerial retirement at the end of the season, so there was never any doubt that he wouldn’t stay in the position.

The talks between Marseille and Conceiçao are progressing “quickly.” OM first approached Paulo Fonseca, the former manager of Lille OSC, but he ended up choosing AC Milan’s proposal. Then, Conceiçao took precedence. Since then, he has left Porto, therefore he is free to sign with Les Phocéens. After some thought, Marseille has made the Portuguese manager an attractive offer, and even if they won’t play in Europe next season, he is tempted to accept the offer.

Conceiçao is free to sign with OM as he is not currently in negotiations with any other teams. Despite this, the club’s management is moving cautiously as the negotiations approach their crucial conclusion. Although there could just be a few things to work out and the negotiations are moving along swiftly, Marseille isn’t getting ahead of itself.
