SAD NEWS: It Is With Heavy Hearts That Packers Announce The Passing Away Of Coach ”Matt LaFleur” Who Was Involved In a Horrible…

The Green Bay Packers’ decision to move on All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams during the 2022 off-season came as a shock at the time.  The Packers had been working on extending Adams, however, those contract talks broke down near the end.

His time with the Las Vegas Raiders has been tumultuous to say the least.  So much so that trade rumors have not died down whatsoever.  Now there is a whole new team in the mix that may target the 31-year-old wide receiver.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are anticipated to engage in a blockbuster trade this offseason in an attempt to add a final wide receiver to their lineup. Pittsburgh is considering two names for potential bids, according to NFL insider Jason La Confora.

During his appearance on Fox Sports’ Jason Smith Show, La Canfora stated that he anticipates the Steelers to make a high-profile wide receiver acquisition, targeting either superstar Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders or All-Pro Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers.

La Canfora declared, “The Steelers are going to acquire another receiver.” “Whether it’s [Brandon Aiyuk], or if it’s the future Davante Adams situation. Or if there’s another reason. I am aware that they have budgeted so they believe they can make one more significant move there.

Throughout the offseason, Aiyuk has been connected to the Steelers, and should the 49ers choose to deal the wide receiver, they are still the front-runners. Regarding Adams, there were some speculations circulating earlier in the spring, but nothing seemed to be confirmed.

Well, maybe it is. For now, Adams remains with the Raiders and there is plenty of talk about him leaving, but most of it surrounds the New York Jets and joining Aaron Rodgers. If Pittsburgh was to try and make a splash move, they’d likely have to overcome New York’s attempt.
