With a 3-1 record against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals has forewarned his opponent that his squad is ‘designed to beat them’.
Joe Burrow, who has an outstanding 3-1 record against the dangerous quarterback, has declared with confidence that the Cincinnati Bengals are “built to beat” Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Though Burrow had an injury-plagued season and missed the final seven games, the Bengals signal-caller is confident in the team’s future. The Bengals are predicted to be strong competitors alongside the Chiefs in 2024, with the majority of their key players returning and some wise free agency additions.
Burrow didn’t mince words when he said he thought the Bengals could compete with the Chiefs: “I don’t know. We both put in a lot of work, I believe. Both of their and our players are excellent. We seem to be a good fit for each other. We seem to be designed to defeat them. We have legendary battles, which I always love.”
He continued, praising both teams’ excellent performances, saying, “Guys are out there making plays all the time. Patrick is a playwright who never stops. There are strong defensive lines on both teams. It’s a fantastic contest.”
The Bengals have added another strong tackle, Trent Brown, to their offensive line after acquiring Orlando Brown Jr., a former blindside tackle for Mahomes, during the off-season. They can now protect him with two of the NFL’s biggest tackles.
