There’s still a serious doubt as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches about where former Notre Dame football standout Audric Estime will be selected. After posting one of the worst 40-times by a running back in more than a decade, there was a brief period of time when it appeared as though he might be able to withdraw from the selection entirely.
But Estime had a better 40-time on his Pro Day in South Bend, and that’s when the formal recovery tour started. Though he might not be the quickest back in the draft, more and more observers began to see what else he had to offer. That even prompted ESPN host Mina Kimes to declare that she “can’t quit” the great running back.
Austime presented his own argument earlier this week. The former star of Notre Dame football briefly appeared on Up&Adams, a daily program on X where former NFL Network broadcaster Kay Adams speaks with the most well-known people in the world. He demonstrated in that appearance—earlier than some scouts had anticipated—why an NFL team should give him a chance.
