SAD NEWS: Phil Foden Gives Shocking Words On EURO 2024 That He Will Not Be Able To…

Phil Foden, the wonderkid of Manchester City, proved he is a mature player last evening as he helped City defeat Brighton 4-nil. This season, the England international has elevated his game, and the Amex Stadium provided plenty evidence of this development.

Early on in Manchester City’s victory over Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton team, it looked like the latter may be difficult to beat. For the first fifteen minutes, the Seagulls appeared to have confused the champions with their tactics, thanks to those of De Zerbi. However, the champions picked up a level after Kevin De Bruyne gave Brighton the lead in the 17th minute, and Brighton was unable to keep up with Pep Guardiola’s team.

It was Phil Foden who put an end to the match after De Bruyne’s goal. In the 26th minute, City was awarded a free kick due to his driving run. With the help of a deflection, Foden finished off the ensuing free kick to make it two goals to none. Eight minutes later, he was there to make it three to none. The ball landed at Phil Foden’s foot in the 34th minute thanks to some outstanding pushing by the champs. He dispatched the rebound expertly to put an end to the contest. The goals that Foden has scored show how mature his game has become.
