Leicester recreated their iconic Jamie Vardy party scenes from eight years ago as a grand way to celebrate their Premier League promotion.
As Leicester was hammered 4-0 by QPR at Loftus Road, players from the team looked to be partying at one of their homes while watching Leeds’ game on television.
Additionally, the midfield player captured the outcome at full time as the whistle blew and the wild celebrations that followed in a living room packed of Foxes fans in a video that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall released.
Leicester was promoted because they could not finish outside the top two after their crushing loss to Leeds, making their first-ever return to the top division.
The exuberant images that Dewsbury-Hall captured were very reminiscent to the revelries that took place when Leicester unexpectedly won the Premier League in 2016.
That time, though, it was another west London club that promised them victory when Chelsea and Tottenham tied 2-2. The Leicester team watched the match at Jamie Vardy’s house, where celebrations erupted following the confirmation of Chelsea’s league title.
Even though it was unclear if Vardy was the host again on Friday night, the striker is still a member of the team and would have been enjoying the festivities with his colleagues.
Dennis Wise sent Vardy a video message to congratulate and invited him to the Italian team Como’s final game of the season.
The players’ posts from their memorable night at King Power Stadium were shared by the Leicester X account, which was also in party mode.
