Due to their recent decline in performance, West Brom’s play-off position is still up in the air going into the season finale.
For the most of the season, West Brom has been ranked fifth in the Championship table; however, a late stumble has left them in sixth place and in risk of missing out on the play-off berths.
A draw will probably be sufficient to guarantee a spot in the top six because the Baggies are two points ahead of Hull City in seventh position due to their superior goal differential. But despite the Tigers’ recent surge in play, three straight losses means Carlos Corberan’s team will close the regular season with some unanticipated anxiety.
Recent results and performances have been thoroughly disappointing. As a result, a couple of changes could be wise for Corberan heading into the clash with Preston.
Among those who must be considered for a start against the Lilywhites is West Brom livewire Tom Fellows.
