According to The Guardian, Manchester United has communicated with Kieran McKenna’s agents in advance of a possible raid for the player.
After securing consecutive promotions with the Tractor Boys, who will play in the Premier League next season, the Ipswich Town manager has drawn interest from several teams.
During the 2023–24 season, Ipswich had to play against some very skilled teams, but in the end, they prevailed and defeated Leeds United to secure an automatic promotion position.
That is a truly amazing accomplishment, and it has not gone ignored.
Although it’s believed that United is particularly interested in their former coach, other teams have also shown interest in the Northern Irishman.
Although Roberto De Zerbi’s future is still up in the air, it is thought that Brighton and Hove Albion has maintained interest.
McKenna was previously wanted by Brentford as well, and he turned down a Crystal Palace offer during the 2023–2024 season. However, with Thomas Frank staying put for the time being, it doesn’t appear that Brentford needs a new manager just yet.
