Kane Drummond of Macclesfield has signed a 12-month contract with National League champion Chesterfield.
The 23-year-old, who scored 19 goals in 41 games for the Silkmen in the 2023–2024 season, will join the Spireites before to their return to the Football League.
Drummond, a former Liverpool youth, spent three years with Warrington Rylands, a team in the Northern Premier League, before making his debut with Macclesfield in November 2022.
In his 31 Blues appearances during the 2021–2022 season, Drummond scored eighteen goals and was named the Northern Premier League Player of the Season. Before moving to the Leasing.com Stadium in the middle of the season to play with former Rylands boss Dave McNabb, he scored nine goals in eighteen games in the beginning of the next season.
