HEARTBREAKING NEWS FOR EELS: HE IS GONE…

Dylan Brown, a star for Parramatta, believes that Brad Arthur’s dismissal as the team’s coach at this point in the season was “unfair,” yet he also acknowledges that the Eels’ relegation to the bottom four is partly the players’ fault.

After the Eels suffered a crushing defeat in Magic Round to the Storm, allowing 48 points to a side without some of its biggest players, Brown became the first player to publicly discuss the experienced coach’s dismissal.

Since the Kiwis playmaker’s NRL debut in 2019, Arthur and Brown have shared a unique bond, which helps to explain why Arthur was devastated to see his mentor fired after leading the Eels to the 2022 grand final.
