Nevertheless, Georgia still has work to do in the Class of 2025, as it is presently ranked No. 8 and has only received five commits thus far.However, Smart and his staff struck gold once more on Saturday, this time securing a commitment from one of the best quarterbacks in the 2026 class, in true UGA flair.

Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs landed an official commitment from Curtis on Saturday. The Nashville native had offered from Ohio State, Alabama and Tennessee and many recruiting experts believed he would be heading to Columbus.
